Evoknit Move Infinite (Evoknit MI) was born from the pursuit of creating a stylish, multifunctional jacket using cutting-edge knitting technology to limit waste, accelerate production, and maximize efficiency.
The concept was to design a versatile, practical jacket that allows the wearer to seamlessly navigate the streets while adapting to varying temperatures. To achieve optimal thermoregulation, we designed distinctive knitted panels featuring both insulation and ventilation at the chest. We also integrated ventilation zones at the underarms, center back, and sides of the hood to ensure excess heat can escape. By utilizing a specialized lightweight polyester yarn and high-tech seamless construction, the jacket offers maximum comfort, while the rib panel at the center back ensures total freedom of movement.
To maintain high production efficiency, many of the details were engineered to be fully machine-knitted. While forward-thinking, Evoknit MI takes design cues from the PUMA archive; specifically, the striped paneling is inspired by the iconic PUMA T7.
This is PUMA taking a step into the future before the future has even arrived.
